About Us

First Aid Scotland offers training from our offices and training centre in Glasgow, which is situated close to J24 of the M8 motorway beside Asda, Govan, and also throughout Scotland. We are a Health & Safety Executive approved first aid training provider (536/85), specialising in delivering first aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, manual handling awareness training, and fire warden training to a customer's specific workplace needs.

For example;  If your employees are all vehicle based, we can also include first aid training on our in-house courses to include emergencies such as :

  • crush injuries
  • road traffic accidents (including management of the scene),
  • motorcycle injuries,
  • Cyanide poisoning,
  • Hydrofluoric acid burns
  • Lyme Disease 
  • as well as the standard HSE required syllabus.

Similarly, if your working environment involves working at height using harnesses, we instruct in the specialist first aid required in dealing with the very real risks of orthostatic incompetence (suspension trauma).
