About us

If you want the most effective training, but are not prepared to pay over the odds for it, book with First Aid Scotland. Established since 1985, we know how to get through to learners, who all have different learning styles, and we don’t teach you reef knots, bore you by simply reading from powerpoint presentations, or get you to learn first aid by reciting acronyms, mnemonics and nursery rhymes like some of our competitors.

We do however, make sure you/ your staff know how, why and what they are doing before leaving us at the end of the course.

We are Official first aid training providers for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Historic Environment Scotland, Edinburgh City Council, Glenmorangie Distillers and many other Blue chip companies.

Fire Warden training
Everyone who has a responsibility under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 (owner/ manager, employer or employee etc.) should be aware of their responsibilities. Employers have a responsibility to provide clear, appropriate information and instruction (and training where necessary) to employees and anyone working on their premises eg. contractors and their employers, in relation to any risks identified and fire safety measures provided. At First Aid Scotland we take fire safety extremely seriously, and have developed our Fire Warden course in conjunction with experienced fire fighters who are used to dealing first hand with the sort of issues that regularly come up on courses.
